In our Returnal review on PS5, we scored the game a masterful 9/10: NVIDIA has just revealed that a new update for Returnal will release later today, adding support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation. Harry Krueger Game Director, Housemarque. The update is live today, letting players pause their cycle and enjoy the beauty of Atropos in Photo Mode. Multiplayer could work particularly well if done properly. Returnal 2.0 update brings Suspend Cycle and Photo Mode. Hopefully this means we’ll see some kind of expansion or sequel in works are plenty of directions Returnal could take.
We don’t know how well Returnal has performed in terms of sales though Sony recently acquired Housemarque, adding it to their growing list of PlayStation studios. The PS5 exclusive is already one of the best-rated games of 2021, automatically reserving a chair at those end-of-year awards discussions. Housemarques latest is its biggest game by far, and it combines the studios arcade. The update is available on the PlayStation. Returnal is on the brink of release on PlayStation 5, and the good news is its an excellent arcade shooter.

The Finnish studio reiterate their warning about enabling automatic game updates on PS5. This latest Returnal update deploys a number of bug fixes while also making it possible to earn certain trophies by replaying act 3 of the game’s story. There’s nothing new here in terms of game features or content.
